Neighborhood kids help out at the Garden

Today we spent most of the afternoon cleaning the land, hauling sticks, raking etc. In the afternoon the neighbor kids got home from school and 5 boys came to visit and help out. We had a great time clearing a path through the trees for a secret trail, making a spiral out of cinderblocks and raking leaves. We had our first donation of plants dropped off at the garden last night and Alison planted some canna and a banana tree! The chain link fairy visited and dropped off a few rolls of link and some poles. Looking for some bags of cement and the tools to install the link! I will get a wish list going and send it out soon.
